Campground suggestions in the Minneapolis area

Can any members suggest a campground in the Twin Cities area, preferably on the west or south side.
Thanks

  • Just left Dakota meadows well worth it and easy to visit attractions in area plus discounted gas and rv wash plus great buffet at casino
  • On the north west side the KOA in Maple Grove is very nice.

Dakota meadows is associated with the casino so the rates are great.
  • Thanks very much for the suggestions. Our forum is great!
  • While these are all fine suggestions, I suggest you use this service also for CG. RV Parky

Be very aware that this is major construction season in the Twin City. Especially this year. Many highway detours, weekend closures and one lane hiways. This will continue into late fall for sure.
  • St Paul East RV Park in Woodbury. Very nice run campground and people.
  • Dakota Meadows RV Park in Prior Lake.
If you don't need full hookups, Baylor Regional Park in Carver County, Collinwood Regional Park and Schroeder Regional Park in Wright County, and Lebanon Hills Regional Park (electric only sites are best, full hookup is like a mobile home park) in Apple Valley are nice.
