campgrounds along I 70 in missouri

About as good as it gets. Lazy Days Exit 170 (Danville) fits your 2 hours west.

Arrow Rock is very nice but I don't remember it having full hookups and it's maybe 20 miles north of I-70. The historic town of Arrow Rock is nice to visit and close to the campground. Near Kansas City right off I-70 is Trailside RV Park in Grain Valley,Mo. It does have full hookups.

Arrow Rock State Historic Site (just West of Columbia, MO & approx 12 mi N of I-70), only site #43 is FHU $28 (+ $8.50 reserve fee), other sites have water/electric for $23. Seniors 65 get $2.00 discount. mostateparks.com
We stayed here our first and last night on our trip to Colorado last summer. Great park!
I would say that I wouldn't reserve 47, 23-32 without walking the site first. The loop and sites are sloped. The rest of the campground is flat.

Ditto on Cottonwoods in Columbia, MO. I would stay there again.

Where along I-70?

We have stayed overnight twice at Cottonwoods RV Park just north of Columbia. Nice place.

There is one in Higginsville right off the interstate, been there.
