campgrounds around disney california

We love traveling south the past few summers. With 2 boys ages 8 and 10 it is time for Disney.
Any recomendations on campgrounds within an hour to the grounds??
We have a 30 foot fifthwheel.
Thanks in advance. The members advice here was great for our Seattle trip last summer.

Will travel the Oregon coast on our trip home as I hear great things.

  • Orangeland is excellent and only a couple of miles from the park. There is a closer one but it is elbow to elbow. Anaheim RV Village was excellent but is closed right now. There are two more close by but their names escape me. We have stayed at both. Do plan at least 5 days and more if you can. Being able to take a break during the day really helps to enjoy the experience. If you can stay a couple of weeks then it is even better because you can take the time to really know the park.
  • Sounds like you have a great family trip planned.
Having lived in the area for 35 years, I can tell you that being even close to Disneyland can take you an hour to get there...:E

Anyway...here is a start. I have no camping experience with any of them. You will love the Oregon Coast. It's a great RV destination.
    Have a great trip
