This is a pretty basic area. Most campers are there for fishing or water sports.
The state parks and COE parks are all right on the water and all have some very nice spots. Electric only at sites most places.
We've camped there yearly since 1983 and not aware of any private campgrounds near the lake.
PS. we love the Hermitage state park as it is located on a peninsula and facing the main part of the lake.
