Campgrounds around Mayo Clinic Florida

Sorry to say there isn't anything real close to Mayo. About the closest nice park is Hanna Park on the coast between Mayport and Neptune Beach. Pecan Park is just north of the airport just off I-95. Otherwise you need to go west of Jax or to St. Augustine. If your are eligible for military FamCamps, Mayport has a nice one as well.

call the clinic ,I,m sure they know of some way to handle this, I worked 30 years for a major hospital, and we,ve set rv,s up with a site with power more than one time.

I took a friend to one of the cancer clinics in Florida and they had an area for patients coming down in an RV. I stayed on the grounds so I could visit everyday while she received treatments.

If you have a toad or rental car, there are a number in St Augustine, but snow birds are likely to have them occupied in March. If only a few days, you can dry camp in the parking lot on the campus. I see many that do as I am a patient there.

I stayed in Hanna park back in 2005 for about a week and would do it again. That of coarse was 11 years ago.

My 2¢ would suggest Hanna Beach Park. Good luck.

Just recently spent the day there for wife's tests. Took our MH. They have a dedicated lot for motorhomes, etc. Easy in and out.
Lots of signs saying no overnight parking.
But give them a call anyway. Maybe they make exceptions.

Had to go to mayo last year, stayed in Hana Park. It wasn't too far and it's really a nice place to camp.
