Yes, we have stayed at the Arrow Campground for an overnighter on occasion. Definitely not a destination park but OK for a night and a walk to Wall Drug in the morning for a cup of coffee and a delicious donut (or two). ;)
We used to stop over in the campground in the Badlands National Park. But the campground is small and tough to get into since they have added electricity to half the sites and a shower house and now take reservations, which we never make accept for Custer State Park.
Oh, and along with Sturgis's 75th bike rally anniversary this year, Custer State Park will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of their popular anual "Buffalo Roundup" in late September. This year the Black Hills of SD will have the largest influx of visitors in it's history.
