If you are visiting family in Long Beach you have lots of choices but most will require a drive that can be 45 minutes without traffic to 1 1/2 hours with traffic.
Golden Shore would be the closest and shortest drive time.
Several parks near Disneyland would mean at least a 45 minute drive if no traffic.
