Campgrounds near Eugene, Oregon

We stayed at an RV park at exit 199 just few miles north of Eugene in Coburg. Pretty close to everything. We liked the park. About 5 miles from center of things in Eugene Premier RV park.

Our favorite is Armitage Park.

Oh my gosh, we first camped at Armitage about 45 years ago. Loved it but they locked the gate on us at 11:00pm. We were visiting friends near the university. Lovely park then.

While you are in the area take a tour up the McKenzie River on hwy 126. We stayed a month one summer at a nice RV park in McKenzie Bridge. Regards, Dick

Armitage is where we stay when visiting family also. Nothing very exciting, but clean. FWIW you can also stay at Valley River Center. There's free RV parking in the lot. It's a huge mall over buy the river. Very popular during football season. A security guard will come buy when you get there and give you a free voucher for a 2 day stay.

By the way Go Ducks. Our son will be starting his last year at the U of O this fall.

You may want to look at River Bend in Harrisburg. If the stories are true it was built by Monaco for new rig delivery. Has a nice motel/hotel next to rv park and great club house and pool. Soon after it opened Manaco went under (the first time).
