The Rest You pick 'em - modern_familyExplorerWhat about the Niagara Falls campground.. I was planning on making reservations for that next month for July.. (they are not open yet) . Anyone been there?
- sdianel_-acct_cExplorerBranches of Niagara.
- GaryWTExplorerWe stayed on the Canadian side as there is more to do and better views. We stayed at Lundy Ln KOA which was nice with plenty to do. The price has gone up a bit since we stayed plus the exchange rare is not good. Where ever you end up, enjoy.
- padredwNomadWhen we visited Niagara Falls, we approached through Port Huron, MI and Sarna, Ontario and spent a delightful four days at 50 Point Conservation Area which was recommended by friends who live in Ontario.
50 Point
They came out and spent those days with us in their motor home. It is not that close to the Falls, but that suited us. The campground is right on Lake Ontario and has the kind of sites we prefer: plenty of space and not like a parking lot.
We did return to the US for a look from "this side" and spent one night in the same RV park that someone mentioned earlier:
Royal Motel RV
It was fine for our overnight there. - GreydennyhawkExplorerIf you have kids going, and a toad to drive, go an hour east to Darien Lake . Rides, water park, etc.
There is a big KOA on Grand Island, I never stayed, near Fantasy Island amusement park. - TvovExplorer IIA few years ago we stayed at the KOA in Niagara on Lundy's Lane on the Canadian side. I thought the campground was fine (kids loved it), and the local bus stops right in front of the campground all day long - just jump on it (very reasonable cost), and it brings you right to the falls.
We went with two other families. For dinner one day, we ate at the Skylon Restaurant (the big tower right next to the falls). They have an all you can eat buffet "family" section and we loved it! The food was great, and we put a dent in their profits that day, lol! The view over looking the falls is fantastic. - mguayExplorerWe stayed at Riverside on the Canadian side. Small...but cheap. The only time we were there was to sleep as we spent most of our time "Downtown". It is a short drive down the Niagara River. If and when we do go back...we will stay there again.

X3 for four mile creek. It has great views and nice park. It just has electric at your site but water available all over the park and two dump sites in the park. Eddy
X4 - 1971duster340ExplorerCamped at AA Royal Motel & Campground in North Tonawanda in 2009. It's less than 15 mi. from the falls. Maybe 30 sites and $42. No issues...I'd stay again.
