Campgrounds not far from Denver International Airport

We are picking up some family at Denver International Airport who will be camping with us. It will be late in the evening so we don't want to drive a long way after picking them up. Any suggestion...

Since you are heading north after the pickup why not stay north & avoid the Denver traffic when you want to leave? St Vrain SP at the I25 exit for Longmont has FHUs & is an easy run to & from DIA. Done it a few times for the same reason.

Get right on 25 the next day & BOOM, you are clear of metro Denver traffic & headed north. No messing with rush hours traffic in the morning & a bunch of interchanges.
