Campgrounds not far from Denver International Airport

We are picking up some family at Denver International Airport who will be camping with us. It will be late in the evening so we don't want to drive a long way after picking them up. Any suggestions on a campground in that area

    Not many selections in the Denver area. The State parks are nice and they book quickly on weekends. When were you going to be there?

    Well, so much for Denver Meadows Did not want to stay at a state park because we would like sewer

    From DIA to Cherry Creek SP is about 25 miles or 30 mins. Never been there but from the pictures, Denver Meadows looks like a parking lot to me. Colorado State Parks are hard to beat.

    Thanks to one of the replies, I think I have found an RV park that will work It is Denver Meadows RV park in Aurora

    What is your definition of "near"? DIA is NE of the city whereas Cherry Creek SP is in the SE, about 35 mi. from DIA.
