camping around panacea FL area?

we're online trying to find a place for ..this upcoming week...thru Feb...we are 34ft coach with a toad..& 3 little dogs.
we like trees..roomy site and no resort types.
if you have info about this whole area within 100 miles even...we'd appreciate..full hook up ...would be great.
  • we have been interested in that area..also interested in Bainbridge..
    thanx

City Park in Sopchoppy. Never been there but rates are low.
Carabelle Beach RV Resort. Check reviews on www.rvparkreviews.com
We prefer Live Oak Landing in Freeport FL. About 11 miles to the beach. Quiet Park.
Near Marianna FL is East Bank Corps of Engineers Park on Lake Seminole. Look on www.recreation.gov and search for Bainbridge GA. Access to the park is off US90 in Florida (not Georgia). They have open and shady spots.
  • thanx that gives us some more to check..we like to know before we commit..

We spent a few days at Ho Hum Campground in Carrabelle. It was a small, very quiet place right on the Gulf.

    Clicky

There was another campground just to the East that appeared to be brand new. I don't recall the name, but a search should show it.
  • sdianel talks about the RV park east of Carrabelle...it is Coastline RV Resort, they have 3 parks...the Resort part, (no trees) pool, dock are there and new showers etc, down 1/8 mile new bath house, lots of trees new cement pads and same view as the "Resort", next to this are the tent (primitive) sites, same view as others...really nice people 30 miles from Sopchoppy, 33 to Panacea..., 7 to St George Island, 8 to Apalachicola
there is a park right in Panacea but I cannot remember the name...looks nice going by

All nicer than one mentioned in Tallahassee

Ask them for a list of their favorite restaurants. We like the Fresh #1 take out place where they stir fry whatever you want from their extensive menu.
