Camping in Branson
DW and I are considering taking our 2 DS (7 & 9) to Branson for summer vacation this year. What would be the best campground for this adventure. I should also add that my DW parents will also be going...

We like Compton Ridge. As far as I know it did change ownership but reopened. They are trying to sell RV lots but I think you can still rent on a daily basis.
The Corps of Engineers has a great public beach area on Table Rock Lake just north of the Dam. It's called "Moonshine Beach", our grand kids love it.
Some of our favorite things to do in Branson include lunch or dinner at the Keeter Center (College of the Ozarks), Top of the Rock, Hard Luck Diner. The Haygood's Show is probably the most popular for all ages.
