Camping near Gatlinsburg, Tn.

well we are at yogi bear campground all the kids are ready for trick or treats

People going to yogi bear bring your costumes they are starting there halloween time you dress up your camper and kids will be out to get there goodies, we will also be there with my kids and my grand kids on the 10,11 and coming home on the 12th. have a very spooky weekend

We are heading down next week. We are going to stay in Asheville NC for 3 nights at Bear Creek RV park. Then head back for 5 nights in Gatlinburg/pigeon forge. We stay at Kings Holly Haven on Wears Valley rd in Pigeon Forge. It's nice and clean and close to everything. We've been staying there for several years.

We are leaving Saturday for a week in Jellystone. This will be our first time in this area of the country. We are excited.

We spent a week at Riverside RV park in Sevierville. Nice folks and nice pull through sites as well as back-ins. It sits on the banks of the Little Pigeon River. Very easy to get to off I-40. Going back next year for 2 weeks. Already have reservations.

Were you there before or after the large slide was added to the pool? If before, then save that as a surprise for your son. :-)

Anchor Down RV Resort. There is no other camground in the Pigeon Forge/ Gattlinburg area that can compare. Just opened this past season. I traveled all the way from New York and after we were done I asked my son if he wants to go to Fort Wilderness Disney or return to Anchor Down and he chose Anchor down RV resort.

Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area loaded down with great camping aites...

In May/June when the Synchronized lightning bugs are breeding and in the Fall when the leaves colors are best is about the only time you will have a hard time finding a camp site.
