Campsite Mass Murder Today in Texas
Link Stay safe and aware fellow campers. Still too early to know motive, but even so, it's a stark reminder to be prepared for this type of thing. How do you protect yourself when boondocking?

Unfortunately those murdered had moved from my hometown of Farmington. The oldest was a 77 man who had retired from University of Maine, the only survivor was his wife who called 911. The gentleman's daughter and her fiancé were also murdered as well as his 8 year old grandson, and two other children. Very tragic since they were wonderful people. As far Maine newspapers report they were staying on their lot for a weekend escape.
