Can you say KOA..
We were charged a required, "resort fee," on top of the nightly rate...
The resort fee included admission to the "bouncy room" and a pancake breakfast. We wanted neither and but they wouldn't let us opt. out.
My wife and I had a similar experience with a KOA. Although we're both in our 50s, camped with no kids and skipped their breakfast, we still had to pay the resort fee. By the way, it was late September and no one was using the bouncy thing anyway!
Camped last weekend at another cg. We had a couple come up to join us to tour a winery and dinner by the fire. They used absolutely no services but were forced to pay $12 each to be there for a few hours.
