In the USA it is getting worse and until something changes it could be a long time until it is under control. I wish it was different. We would love to take a 2 week trip to the USA. There has only been about 325 cases. 7 deaths and no covid beds are occupied. But 4 truck drivers have been infected. 2 from visiting one of the "bad" states. And 2 who may have caught the virus from meat packing employees. The Government has opened up many stores and shops but lots of social distancing. Anyone that wants a test can drive up with almost no wait. I have tested negative twice! There are no shortages of protective gear for medical personnel. Gracias de Dios!

This post helped me to make the decision to NOT drive south even if there border should happen to open. Thank you so much.
Flying seems to me to be safer. To do so--USA will have to have made dramatic gains from where they are now.
It is a MESS down south.
