I used to camp a Candy Hill until I had a run-in with the jerk who manages it. I called ahead for a spot on a busy weekend. They said sure come on in. Turned out the spot was in a field with an electric riser, not a regular spot, and was still $50. I complained to the jerk and told him it was hard to level and couldn't get a wheelchair out, he said sounds unsafe, you better leave. The jerk at this point goes to pull my electric plug out. Sure, after driving 6 hours and on a holiday weekend and a screaming 3 year old I'm going to pack up at night and start driving again. I passed up a nice campground to get to this place because I was told they had a site. I wouldn't have gone to it if I was told it was overflow in the field and not level. Needless to say I have never been back to the place and will never give them another penny of my money.
