You are correct sir! Actually we will be doing a ten day trip over to San Diego later this month with another trip up to the White Mountains before that. June is the one month of the year that we try and avoid being in Tucson as much as possible. By July first the Monsoon has usually arrived, Momma Nature's pyrotechnics and heavy rains make things much more pleasant (not to mention exciting).
Fortunately we live about 25 miles north of downtown Tucson. Our 3,400' elevation just below Mt Lemmon usually nets us 6*'s cooler than downtown.... and it's a dry heat (much like a Pizza oven). :B
