Canyonlands-Capitol Reef, Worth the trip?
We've done the best known National Parks in the west and are working our way through the second tier. What can you tell me about these two parks? Thanks. Is hwy 50, west of the parks, good road.

We have enjoyed all the Utah NP's and have visited some of them several times. I suggest that a study of the geology of the area and then picture what early settlers had to endure to live there. Including the Native Americans! If you are not a "desert" camper--they may only need a short visit--do it in the fall or spring! We like the dark skies programs that seem to be growing and the Utah NP's have great programs with telescopes. Our last one was at Dinosaur Nat. Mon near Vernal--it was really dark with great stars.
