- D_E_BishopExplorerGoogle the Otis Café in Otis OR for directions, it is a little east of 101 and just north of Lincoln City. Town isn't much but the Otis Café is. German Potatoes, breads and pies. Breakfast there is wonderful.
- Bill_and_KathiExplorerGreat information that will be put to good use! Thanks to all. Getting excited!
- RVing_4_FUNExplorerI just spent Friday, and Saturday night at the Thousand Trails Pacific City location. Which is about 2 miles further north on the main road.
Pacific City is a very small town. DW loves to go into the small shops. She loved an art gallery....and of course the "Dapper Frog" which has lots of really nice (expensive too) things. I think she could spend 90 minutes just in the Dapper Frog. One of her favorite shops recently closed up shop. so if you see something you like better buy it. Might not be there next time you are in town.
Fishing should be good----if you enjoy that.....should be able to dig clams in one of the bays on low tide.
Sand Lake is (maybe 10 miles north) known for ATV activities.
South on 101 is Lincoln City with a casino, and tons of shops including an outlet mall.
This on top of all the things already mentioned....the Brewery just across the street from your RV Resort is close....and watch the Dories launch.
Enjoy your stay! - Pangaea_RonExplorerI actually knew nothing about the area before we stayed there. A friend of mine did a review and article about the area for Coastal Living Magazine and fell in love with it.

Thanks Ron for a quick response. We know nothing about the area so all recommendations are considered. We appreciate the help. We are really looking forward to exploring more of our beautiful country. Thanks again. B&K
Also, not sure what your route is, but a short distance north on US101 is Tillamook. You should stop at the Tillamook Cheese factory for a fine lunch and cheese shopping! - Ed_GeeExplorer II

We loved our stay there.
Make sure that you visit the Pelican Pub & Brewery across the highway for magnificent meals and perhaps a great beer.
The walks to the dunes and coves North of there are amazing and well worth the effort.
The beach launched dory salmon fishery that launches from the beach there is fascinating to watch, and is a throw back to historic fishing methods.
Enjoy your visit.
