Check out Holiday Trav-L-Park in Emerald Isle, NC.

KOA Hatteras is a good spot. One of the closest to the beach without being ON the beach. Several others in the same area. Take a look at Edisto Beach State Park, Huntington Beach State Park, or even Myrtle Beach State Park. There are also several commercial parks near MBSP that many people rave about. I’m not a fan of them. Very good locations for golf, seafood, things for kids.
