Cataloochee campground Smokey Mountains NP
For those that have been there; how accessible is this campground with a 28' TT? Some of my research seems to indicate there is a section of road that might be questionable.

We were there in March on a day trip from Maggie Valley NC and my wife and I neither one could believe anyone would take a camper over that road. It has a gravel section with sharp curves and no shoulders, very steep grades, and is too narrow in places for two cars to pass each other. My DW was scared even though we were in an SUV. You can get there from the Tennessee side, but I don't remember that road being much better.The CG is nice enough and the Valley was fun, especially seeing the elk herd, but I wouldn't want to take a camper there.
