Cataloochee CG info
I have looked everywhere I know and can't find a yes or no on. Does Cataloochee CG " the one north of Maggie Valley NC, have a dump station ? ? thanks Dar

And I can confirm from personal experience that Cataloochee does not have a dump station. It is a small campground and you do need to make sure you have reservations before you enter the valley.
For phone service, the closest place is the overlook shortly after the gravel road turns back to pavement and you start to go down into the valley. Usually, I have to climb the hill to the highest point of the over look for a signal and even then sometimes can only send text messages.
Enjoy it and hope you get to see some young ones if you go. They should be coming out into the fields in a few more weeks.
