Cedar Point eliminated electric only section?

I did read in an email from them that they had added new cabins...

Looking at the map, all the camper sites appear to be the same.

The reservation person confirmed it. They have removed the sites and put cabins in that area. Hopefully that isn't the plan for the full hook up area also.

Talked to a campground owner and found out they make more from the cabins then campers. This is both as a nightly rate and in the store too.

probably because we campers are frugal and cook for ourselves and bring our own food. Now doubly as hard to make a reservation.

Yes, that is terrible they did that, granted that section needed work, but it didn't need anymore cabins! I'll have to give them my 2cents also!!!
