Central CA campgrounds?
Looking for some suggestions for places to camp on the California Central Cost. Full hookups are not a requirement but would be nice and also close to the ocean would be great too! Thanks.

What I mean by kid friendly is the noise factor. I have stayed at some places that were more of a 55+ crowd that give pleanty of dirty looks for the laughter and noise young kids make. When we camp I dont want to have to tell the boys to keep it down when we are out to have fun during the day. After 10pm I understand that people are starting to go to sleep but during daylight is another story.
i not aware of any California state park that is like what you're describing, especially in the summer.:h
everyone of them i camped at, when i camped in the summer, was always full of noisy, laughing, running, screaming kids.
you must be talking about private campgrounds, not public ones.
i'm part of that 55+ crowd and just because i don't like the noise of screaming kids, doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to be kids and have fun. they should allowed to enjoy camping with the family and part of that is kids being kids.
now, if they run through my campsite, that's a different story!:M
that's why i choose to camp while kids are in school and the crowds are gone, in the spring and fall.
