Central CA campgrounds?
Looking for some suggestions for places to camp on the California Central Cost. Full hookups are not a requirement but would be nice and also close to the ocean would be great too! Thanks.

Two quick things . . .
Availability will probably dictate where you go. Few weeks back we couldn't find anything to meet our needs in the Pismo/Morro area. But we wanted a full week without changing campsites. Full hook-ups, etc.
After having our grandkids at 2 different So Cal kid friendly parks recently, I applaud parents who take their kids RV'ing as we did with ours. I abhor parents that think the park is a babysitter where the kids are no longer their responsibility. Our 10 yr old grandson, who is a handful for everyone but me it seems, recently commented that the parent apparently couldn't read the rule about not diving into the pool - an issue the boy and I had already butted heads about. Kids need parents.
Spending quality RV time with them pays off. After a recent deployment, the first thing my Spec Ops son requested was that we take the RV to Lake Shasta to go boating as we did often in his formative years. My daughter and her family, toy hauler in tow, were right there on the 1400 mile round trip. The quality time with them now will be pricelessly rewarded in the years to come.
Make those reservations soon.
