Take a map of Florida and draw a horizontal line from St Petersburg east to Vero Beach. To stay warm in winter, stay south of that line.
Because fronts come down the state at a NE/SW angle I would draw that line from Vero to Ft Myers to get the same temps and fewer overcast days.
