Most of them have long pads. Some are very long. The shorter ones have a separate place to park the tow. If you go to recreation.gov and click on different sites it will show you photos. Our favorite is probably South Marcum, and next would be Gun Creek. South Marcum borders "Party Cove", so you have a lot of boat action. It's no-wake so engine noise isn't a problem. Benton is close to South Marcum, so easy to go to town for supplies. I'm afraid I have a lot of pics of Rend but not a lot that show the whole camp pad. Keep in mind that I don't usually back all the way back...because I don't have to. That leaves me a sitting area.

I have some of Gun Creek, but mostly the yard space and not the pad. Most sites give you plenty of space.
