Not exactly.

I know for a fact that Park Sierra (Ca.) has pull-thrus because I've stayed in 2 of them.

And according to the Escapees magazine that I am looking at right now, you can also include Jojoba Hills (Ca.) and Pair-A-Dice (Nv.)


6 of the 7 Escapee owned Parks are shown as having pull-thrus.

Benson is a Co-op whose bylaws require Escapees membership. The lots are long term / lifetime leases 'owned' by Co-op members. Escapees has nothing to do with the operation of the Co-op.

We've stayed at a few of the 11 Escapees affiliated Co-ops and have always been welcomed warmly and urged to join in any/ all community activities.

Looking at the Google Maps Satellite Image, it appears that all of the sites including the transient sites at the far West side of the park are back-ins which is what I remember.

x2 for Butterfield. Easy in and out, close to freeway. The others mentioned are great, too, so just pick one.

We stayed at Benson I-10 RV Park on Jan 12 this year one block off the freeway. We arrived a bit before 5:30 pm (they lock the gate at 6 - no late arrivals)

We were in an 85 ft long pull-thru. We walked across the street to Denny's for dinner. Checked out the clean spacious restroom building, and back in the TT. We're back on the road before 7 am $25 cash as a Passport America discount.

We are Escapees, but they told us they had no spots where we would not have to unhook. We plan to stay a week with them on our way back to the west coast next month.

If you decide to 'buy-in' and get a permanent site, you then have the option of allowing management to place a transient at your site when you are traveling. This a good thing as the collected fees go into the community kitty which can decrease any yearly surcharge the community members pay.

I'm very surprised they acted that way.

We have stayed at other parks (not affiliated with Escapees) where the rentals are sites owned or long term leased and rerented when vacant. We have encountered similar attitudes by the adjacent owners. For that reason we now prefer to stay away from parks of that type if at all possible.

We stayed at Cochise Terrace a few years ago and thought it was really nice. I'd stay there again.

Butterfield RV resort is quite nice. Quiet, clean, and peaceful. It has added amenities of a real nice observatory ( with evening guided sessions ) as well as a well functioning ham radio station if you have an amateur radio license.
