Myrtle Beach on US17 has many such places. We all meet at LAKEWOOD CAMPING RESORT once a year for our mini family reunion. They have these VILLAs situated around a couple of inner LAKES which makes for a great cabin atmosphere. This also has a RV Camp Ground and access to the Atlanta Ocean Beach. Great folks run the place...
There are whole bunch of similar Camping Resorts along this stretch of Atlanta Beaches.
Check them out... Might be just what you are looking for... I know this is farther NORTH than you were wanting but has alot to offer... Savannah has too many little bitty mosquitoes and Hilton Head was always TOO HIGH CLASS for us country folks...
