Chatfield State Park (Colorado) in early October

Has anyone stayed at Chatfield State Park, just south of Littleton, Co, in October? We are planning to be there over the weekend of Oct. 5-6. Based on their web site, they will have gone to their wint...

Chatfield SP and reservoir will be undergoing massive reconstruction/enlargement in the near future but I'm not up on just when that will start. Check with them before you finalize any plans. best alternative in Denver area is Cherry Creek SP.
