"Cheap" fuel prices
Have these low gas/diesel prices got you thinking about taking a longer trip this year? Or maybe taking more trips than usual?

- Diesel cost isn't a big factor in the scope of things. On a 1000 mile week long round trip I'll burn about 100 gallons. At $1.25 thats $125. At $2.50 its $250. Overall cost of the trip is several times that. IOW's, Diesel is not the major expense of a trip for us.

X2 After buying a new diesel truck, a new 5th wheel trailer, a new superglide hitch, 2 generators, and insurance for all the above the fuel cost becomes a minor component. If diesel went to $5 a gallon, I would eat out less, boondock more, and still go wherever I planned to go.
