Cheyenne Mountain State Park & Rocky Mountain National Park

Hi Everyone! DH and I are planning our Sept. 2017 vacation. Have a few questions about our plans. We plan on first going to Cheyenne Mountain State Park for 6 nights. Is that too long at that park? We...

Cheyenne Mountain is a great park with some amazing views. Some of the lower tier of sites had steep entries that made it hard to avoid scraping a bumper with my 30ft FW.

While the trail system looked first rate "no dogs" meant I didn't explore it. If you don't have a four legged hiking partner I think you'll be pleased.
