Chili in the Valley

Anyone know of any local restaurants in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas that serve good Chili?

  • I think the actual name is Willie B's Barbecue and I have sampled their entire menu. All good, but no Chili.

Nothing wrong with getting many opinions. I have eaten good Texas Chili in the Corpus Christi area but have not encountered any down here near McAllen. Back home, we have chili parlors and many taverns offer their own favorite concoctions. The early hour posting may have had something to do with last evening's meal at Willy's BBQ.

But Willie's is so good. Have you tried the Texas Bowl with BBQ pork?

If you're online at 3;25AM, you probably don't need to be eating anymore chili! :)

    :B Excellent reply.

Really, you're in Texas. Throw a stone.

I have thrown a lot of stones and hit mostly taco stands and chain restaurants. Do you have any actual recommendations?
