The Circus RV park is now run by the hotel so I cannot tell you how well they administer it but it is the only location within walking distance to casinos on the Strip. There is plenty of room between sites so you are not crowded. It is 3 ½ half miles from the Circus on the north end to the Mandalay Bay on the south with the Eiffel Tower, New York, a Pyramid, a Castle, Mont Carlo, a 550 ft tall observation wheel and another couple of dozen resorts in between. The Oasis is a much nicer RV park but over 4 miles south of Mandalay Bay with no casinos in between. Don’t worry about the casinos getting your money because there will be nothing left after you see all of the shops. A 10 minute walk will get you to the Encore and Wynn which are 5 star resorts with great free drinks to players even at the penny machines. Many more resorts are a little beyond that and a double decker bus runs the strip and to downtown for around $8 for a 24 hour pass. The days prior to Christmas are a little quieter but from Christmas through New Years is gets crowded. There is nothing like attending Christmas mass at the Guardian Angel Cathedral and then a nice buffet next door at the Wynn. We no longer tow a car when we go to Vegas as the traffic is really bad and between the bus, monorail and cabs we go everywhere we want. The power issue is real when it is 100+ for days at a time but not an issue in December. Good luck and enjoy the trip.
