Looking for suggestions for a Christmas trip. Hoping for something interesting for the teenage kids and their parents . We live in NC, did the Florida Keys last Christmas, any sugg...

The Everglades National Park in south Florida.
You can either camp in Long Pine Key which has no hook ups, or try to get a reservation in Flamingo which has some electric sites.
Or you could stay just outside the park in Homestead at Miami Everglades camp ground which is a nice place with full hook ups and all amenities including a pool. It is close enough for day trips into the park and other places outside the park.

Back when our kids were younger they loved the Everglades and we did several Christmas trips there.
Now my wife and I winter in the Keys and still head into the Everglades every each year exploring a new part
