- azdryheatExplorerSo they got back their online res system. Finally. I love the park but never cared for the office staff - incompetent.
- azdryheatExplorerWonderful news. Just booked a week at Chula Vista. Did it online, which we haven't been able to do for several years. And I got to pick my site, which we've never been able to do. Cost me an extra $30 to lock in the site but I got it instead of them picking it for me. Happy days.
- profdant139Explorer IIThanks for posting this heads-up! Great news.
- mileshuffExplorerSun Communities will keep it open until city breaks ground on new development plans. Sun will be building a new RV park a few blocks away that will then replace Chula Vista. However, this new RV park be a block away from the bay. No more bay shore park area.
We've enjoyed Chula Vista over the years but lately the per night rate has hit absurdity. Popular weekends are now $125+ per night. Non peak days are often still $80-$100.
