- JW_of_Opechee_SExplorerYes we travel that route each year once or twice. I was not sure if any sections would be closed due to the flooding.
- Z-PellerExplorerSounds like OP has used & knows the route, but inquiring as to its CONDITION now since weather / flooding ???
- Community AlumniWe also use 17 a lot. It’s not a bad route but much slower than interstates due to traffic lights and lower speed limits. You can’t be in a hurry on it. :C
You called it ‘coastal’ but personally I would not tag it that since most of it is inland without ocean views. If your intent was to be along the coast then 17 is not the one.
Just my opinion - K_CharlesExplorerWe take a 17 a lot, not a bad road. A lot of 4 lane and a few lights in some small towns.
