When I hit the road full time the first CG I called to make a reservation off an advertising sign for the CG "while I was driving" for THAT night to insure I had a site.
ALL the CG manger said to me was I need your credit card number to hold the site. That's ALL she said.
One hour later there was a 12 car pile up on the interstate I was on and I knew I was not going to make that CG that night.
One hour later I called back to cancel my reservation. What I got was "Thank you, we have already charged your card and you won't be seeing any of that money any time soon because there is no refund."
That was 7 years ago, since that day I have NEVER made a reservation for a CG site. And I've never been without a place to stay. Needless to say I don't have to worry about CG reservation policies. :C
