Yes, it may be a crappy cancellation policy, but it's not unheard of at busy places, during the busy season. All one has to do is accept a modicum of personal responsibility and not blame everything on everyone else but themselves. That's how this reads, in actuality.

OP still hasn't returned, but then no one took my bet, so I guess I don't get a coke.
