Doesn't say the retailer must inform you of the policy. Some states have a law that if you are not informed, then a 30 day refund policy is assumed. Apparently Colorado is not one of those.
At the end of the day, while I agree, the situation sucks for the OP, it is what it is... maybe next time they will do their due diligence.

Having stayed at this campground and hundreds more in the last 7 years I have found that 99% of campgrounds send a confirmation that clearly states their cancellation policy.
As I remember I got one from Dakota
