Montrose can get warm , in the 90s on a sunny day, as well but it is dry and the nights cool off nicely. My electric bill usually works out to be around $1 a day, that is running the AC if we are there, the fridge and water heater on electric. The Montrose KOA has electric meters at the sites so you only pay for what you use, think it was about 11 cents a kilowatt our last trip. Some of the longer term stay sites toward the back also have metered propane to the sites.
