(X2 with Bipeflier)I have been going to CO for years. RMNP is a must, best in Sept for the elk bugling, then SW to South Fork, Creede, Pagosa Springs, Durango, Silverton and beyond. A few days just west of South Fork at Fun Valley Family Resort. Lots of people, young and old. Packed from June 20th to July 15th, so any time before or after it is good. My kids loved it at that age and made a great spot for day trips to most SW Colorado sites. River Rafting in Creede @ Mountain Man (they cater to families and are very safe). I could go on and on about SW CO. PM me and I can discuss more places for the kids...have fun and we may cross paths this summer.
