We had no issues with Colter Bay, other than the pine needles all over the inside of the trailer. Still finding them after 5 years. Kinda brings back memories.
Probably makes it smell nice too. :)
Having driven by all of the private (hookup) parks mentioned, Colter Bay would definitely be our choice. In the future we may get a generator, which would allow us to consider the no-hookup NPS/NFS parks for more than a couple nights. To the OP - there really aren't a lot of RV-friendly CGs in GTNP and Jackson. Somewhat surprising, considering its popularity, but a lot of folks just make a day trip to the Tetons from Yellowstone. That may be part of the reason.
