Corpus Christi / Port Aransas Must See & Do

Hey everyone!

We have reservations for two weeks the end of March, 2017. Would some of you good folks offer some must see, must do, must eat advice please? I sure appreciate it.

  • I don't know a lot of the area, went there one time for a weekend visiting family. I do remember eating at Snoopys. We will go back next time we're in Corpus.
  • We were in Snoopy's just last week with two other couples. Out of six people no one will be back. If you like having to order at a counter, food on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils, and over priced food then Snoopy's is the place for you.

A much better place for about the same money is Catfish Charlie's. We've been there twice and would return.

Not really. It's pretty much been covered. There's isn't much to actually "do" there unless you like fishing or birding or wind sports.

Actually, I do like ordering at the counter and I'd prefer not eating on styrofoam with plastic utensils because I try to be more green than that, but I think it matches the ambiance of Snoopy's.

I like Catfish Charlie's, but sometimes want to just hang around outside in some shorts thrown over a bathing suit, and salty hair.

As for the food, it's a lot of fried fish at both places. Nothing terribly special.
  • Go on tripadvisor and have a blast. There is excellent seafood in both towns. The beaches are not perfect (just Texas beaches) but it is a very very fun area to visit.
