We stayed at country haven last year and are returning this year. The best thing going for this cg is it is very quiet and in a beautiful location. We tried to get into country acres last year, but it was booked, so we went to country haven.
I've read bad reviews about the owners, and in talking to one of our camping neighbors, it had changed hands and the new owners were more difficult. The biggest complaints about the owners were there was a low tolerance for barking dogs and there were lots of rules around noise. Also, there's not much to do, small playground, no pool, etc. that fit us fine, we don't travel with dogs or kids. Nothing against them, but quiet is nice too. Lots of beautiful walks through Amish country.
If you do go there, get one of the sites that overlooks the valley. Absolutely beautiful!
If you're into it, the Sight and Sound theater is amazing. In fact, that's why we're returning this year. Have fun!
