My DW (65) and me (72) paid $1475 for a one year policy
which included our 180 days in the USA.
Friends pay close to $8000.00 and they feel it is worth
it to be someplace warm for the winter months.
If they stay home, they are housebound, constantly dealing
with adult children that always want or need something,
and friends their age that always talk about how little time they
have left.
They head south, meet the "old gang", happy hours, side trips, etc.
and they all feel ALIVE.
They consider the travel insurance cheap.
