We recently dry camped 5 days at Rollover Pass, paid $10 daily fee to do so, a privately owned part of the town of Crystal Beach for the surf and pass fishing and to support the private ownership association efforts to keep the pass open against state efforts to fill it in. Much can be learned by visiting the Crystal Beach website.
We did see several off beach rv parks nearby that offered quite reasonable rates, from daily to seasonal. None we saw were beach frontage.
Hurricane risks are very high, beach frontage land cost prohibitave for an RV park in such a location with so few attractions.
