In the "other attractions" category, you might be interested in the Little League hall of fame/museum. If you happen to be around when the Little League World Series is going on, it might even be worth battling the traffic etc. to catch that for a day; it looks like a fantastically fun thing to see in person from what I can tell, and the price is unbeatable (beyond the obvious annoyances of getting there simultaneously with a small city of other people).
